We are a specialist shopfitting and building company which services the area of Melbourne, Canberra and Sydney. We supply labor, joinery and building services to larger shopfitters, builders, project managers and clients nationally. We are members of the Master Builders Association of Victoria and CFMEU.  

Our team is highly skilled in all aspects of building, shop fitting and joinery. They have a vast experience in many leading brand retailers fit outs, new build works and supply of modular joinery for national role out. Our team also meets AS/NZ building codes with training in OH&S including Red, Blue, White and Green cards making them able to work in all states in Australia. All are First aid level 2 certified, have licenses in EWP and boom lifts.

Barkem Constructions staff is at all times are courteous to clients and wear a uniform making them easy to identify. Staff will at all times have the clients key value in mind whilst undertaking their project.

Shopfitting is a national business and many shopfitters are based in a different state to which their clients site may be located. This can be a costly exercise to send labour interstate as travel time, away allowances etc add up, this is where we can help. We have staff and manufacturing  facilities located in Melbourne, Canberra and Sydney.
